Since both the 'Oaths' article and 'Mathgar Ruins' are now available as pdf's, I've updated the Age of Shadow website to include them on the downloads page. I've also made a couple of blank NPC sheets available (like those featured in the back of the campaign guide), and updated the front page to include links to the fortress map-pack.
And since this week's blog posts have been mainly concerned with the Age of Shadow, here's a couple of special discounts for blog/facebook/twitter followers:
As some of you may well remember, Mathgar Ruins is an adventure/encounter location for the Age of Shadow RPG that was originally presented as a series of blog entries back in September/October of 2011 (see the 'Mathgar' link on the right for the entries themselves).
However, for those folks that have expressed an interest in getting the whole thing as a single pdf download, I'm pleased to say that you can now do just that by following THIS LINK
Note that this is not intended to be a full-blown adventure module, but rather a simple encounter site that takes care of all of the rules/statistics/mechanics/etc. for the area in question, while leaving any plot/story firmly in the hands of the GM.
If you've been following the blog recently you'll have noticed the experimental rules I posted regarding the taking (and breaking) of oaths in the Age of Shadow.
Well, since then I've tidied those notes up a little and made them into a little pdf that can be downloaded HERE (for anyone who might be interested in giving them a try).
I'm also thinking of doing something similar with the adventure location (Mathgar Ruins) that I posted a little while back (if folks are interested), and I also have a few other things related to the AoS that I'm hoping to get around to (when time permits) - including a little side-trek adventure entitled Aleglin & Elmina (which should also feature a small section on healing herbs and the like).
But for now, work on the indie video game (that I mentioned back HERE) is still keeping me extremely busy - but in the meantime here's a quick look at a couple of preliminary maps from the Aleglin & Elmina mini-adventure:
